A bit about me

Put simply: I love creating and experimenting. As a kid, being out in nature wasn’t enough, I had to feel it; touch it, to have the full experience and understanding. I feel this curiosity is what lead me to making art. I enjoyed perusing my own perceptions, then making them come to life. The creative process never gets old for me. There is something about holding a pencil that makes my fingers itch to sketch. The way my pen pulls and pushes across a piece of paper, leaving a trace of ink behind, captivates me. The best is when I loose myself in the process. It is the simple things after all.

My art brings me happiness and I love seeing the wonder it can invoke in people. I live in the details of each of my pieces, they are my favorite thing to get lost in. It amazes me each time, how millions of marks on a page, together, render beautiful images. Every piece I create is a reflection of me and my view of the world. Through my art, I create beauty where nature left off.

Although it is not what I set out to do, I have won a few art awards through Lone Star College and Cypress Creek High School, where I earned my AA and Texas floral certification. I feel my real accomplishment though, is having kept making art for this long. It wasn’t until the encouraging words of a stranger that I decided to start selling my art, in pursuit of my passion.

To all other artists; please never stop creating. To those who do not think they are artists; start creating! It may unlock a part of you, you did not know exists anymore. To those who purchase art; Thank you!
